Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to lead our studio. This person will drive business development, team performance, and community engagement. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the studio manager, corporate, and regional leadership to ensure operational excellence and a strong brand presence in the local market. The ideal candidate has a background in health and wellness, retail or hospitality, and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management:

  • Lead and support the hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members.
  • Provide coaching and performance management through goal-setting, reviews, and day-to-day feedback.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that values customer service, accountability, and wellness.
  • Handle disciplinary matters with support from leadership team and lead staff meetings.
Operations Management:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for guests and team members.
  • Ensure adherence to all operating procedures and safety standards.
  • Act as point of contact for any facility maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Support or step in for opening/closing duties as needed.
  • Monitor daily revenue, appointments, and activity reports.
  • Report incidents and collaborate with regional operations and corporate as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with studio Manager, Lead Nurse and Regional Manager to support team performance.
Sales & Marketing:

  • Drive membership, package, and retail sales with a clear understanding of sales metrics.
  • Regularly check in with members to track progress toward wellness goals.
  • Lead and motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage lead generation platforms and follow up on missed appointments, declines, and expirations.
  • Assist with store marketing, event planning, and community outreach.
  • Cultivate local partnerships and represent Restore at wellness events.
  • Ensure social media channels are active and reflect current campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of management experience (retail, fitness, hospitality, or wellness preferred).
  • Proven sales background, especially in B2B or service-based sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with performance metrics and payroll/scheduling tools.
  • Comfortable with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passionate about health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.
  • Ethical, team-oriented, and motivated by results.

 
 
Compensation: $22.00 per hour
